By adding an image to a question you can quickly and easily add visual context to a question, enabling you to test things like a new logo, name, visual indicator, button or other visual element without much effort. This functionality is available for Surveys and In-Product Surveys.

Add an Image or Gif to a Question

  1. Navigate to a new or existing Survey or In-Product Survey.
  2. Navigate to an existing question or add a new one.
    1. Adding an image or gif works with all question types except:

  5. Edit and preview as needed.
  6. Launch the survey.

Disabling the Ability to Add an Image to a Question

Since images can contain sensitive information, Admins can decide if including visuals with surveys is right for their team. To turn off the ability to add images to questions have an Admin navigate to Settings > Surveys > Configure > Allow Images in Questions and switch the toggle off. If images had already been added to surveys when this is done, they’ll be hidden from both respondents and anyone building or reviewing surveys in the Study Builder.
