Domain-based discovery helps colleagues find your Organization in Sprig. When someone signs up with an email address that matches your discoverable domain, Sprig routes them to your Organization as a join request for an Organization Admin to approve. A domain match routes the request; it never grants access by itself. If your company uses single sign-on (SSO) and you have a Sprig Enterprise plan, you can use SAML-based SSO instead. For more information, visit Single Sign-On (SSO).

Getting Started with Organization Discovery

Please contact support@sprig.com to add your domain as a discoverable domain for your Organization. Once that is done, navigate to Settings > Domains in your Organization Admin account and confirm the domain was added.
Note: Organization discovery only supports one domain.

How joining works

  1. A colleague with a matching email domain signs up for Sprig at app.sprig.com/signup. Sprig recognizes the domain and prompts them to Request to join your Organization.
  2. Organization Admins receive an email notification about the request and review it from the Requests tab on the Members page.
  3. The approving admin chooses the Workspace and the role the new member will hold in it, then approves.
  4. The new member is notified by email that their request was approved, and they see your Organization when they log in to Sprig.
A denied request sends the requester a neutral email that does not name the Organization or Workspace. For the full picture of Workspaces, roles, and member management, see Roles, Workspaces, and Permissions.
